Vintage Leather Jacket – Score!

A few months ago, my mom convinced me to help her edit her wardrobe.  If you had any idea how big a task this was, you’d understand why it took some convincing on her part. Several hours, a few tears and one knock-down-drag-out fight later, her closet was dramatically improved, Goodwill happily received bags and bags of donated clothing and she had 15 “new” outfits to wear.

But the very best thing to come out of that evening was this creamy beige vintage leather jacket she wore in the 60’s, which came home with me.  My cargos (Land’s End) and gray Tshirt (Target), would have been a pretty nondescript outfit on their own.  The Tahari heels stepped it up a little, yes, but this gorgeous vintage jacket brought the whole thing together.

And it was free!  Unless you count the tears…
